This is a preview of a project set to break ground in Nassau Bay, Texas... a stone's throw from NASA. The property is in the flood plain and needed to be elevated. The house will capture views of Clear Lake.
The family had specific needs they wanted to achieve in the design. They wanted to adhere to design principles tied to their Eastern religion, including elements of Feng Shui. An abundance of natural light and incorporating planting materials into the house was also important.
The design process for this home was a bit longer than usual. However, the level of care a scrutiny that went into this design will make it something truly special for the family.
