Troy Kennedy, principal and founder of Kennedy Architecture LLC, has over 30 years designing, drawing and managing residential, commercial, institutional, and educational projects of all sizes. He is involved in all aspects of a project.

He graduated from the University of Texas School of Architecture with high honors in 1993. This experience also included an invaluable 4 months of studying in Europe.

After living in Austin for 14 years, he moved back to the Galveston Bay area, where he grew up and still has family. Inspired by travel, both domestic and abroad, all things well-designed, and nature, Troy embraces the excitement of the design process and collaboration with a client.
The goal is to always try to exceed a client’s expectations and push the envelope as far as comfortably possible.

Troy has three children, one a recent Texas A&M University graduate, another attending TAMU, and a third still in High School.

Troy Kennedy is a very early LEED Accredited Professional, the designs I produce will have innate energy-efficient solutions. I take pride in my understanding of building science. I stay up to speed on the newest and best products to help make for the best-performing design results.

I have extensive experience in site and building due diligence. This service can provide valuable information for your site or building related to FEMA / floodplain, stormwater drainage, applicable codes, local zoning, and fire marshal requirements depending on the permitting jurisdiction where your project is located.
This service ideally happens before you close on a property to make sure your project is feasible.
